Mushrooms

  1. Several specimens should be collected, if possible, including ones that show different stages of growth or maturity. No soil is needed.

  2. Each item should be wrapped gently in waxed paper (not in plastic bags).

  3. The mushrooms should be packaged in a crushproof box with a lightweight filler material around the specimens to prevent them from moving around in box while in transit.
