To register for a school, check desired training (license) under location (city) and mail with the registration fee of $25.00 to the address below. If you need manuals (click here for order form), add that cost to the registration fee. We are unable to accept purchase orders, online, phone or credit card payments, please make check or money order payable to N.C. State University. Only the classes listed will be given on that date. Also, some listed classes may not be taught if less than 5 registrants enroll. If the class you choose will not be taught, or if it is full at the time we receive your registration, we will contact you. Schools start at 8:30 a.m. and are over by 4:00 p.m. All tests are given at each school on the second day at 1:00 p.m.
IMPORTANT (STRUCTURAL ONLY): You must be a Registered Technician BEFORE applying for the Structural Pest Control Certification. When you receive your manuals, mail the form in your Structural Manual to NCDA&CS at least 10 days prior to the test date. Questions regarding Structural Pest Control regulations should be directed to Victor Lennon at NCDA&CS (919/733-6100).
PRIVATE APPLICATORS (FARMERS): Private applicators wishing to attend the class will only benefit from the first day of class. You will need to return the second day at 1:00 p.m. for the test. The class registration fee for private applicators is $10.00. The manuals for private applicators are “Applying Pesticides Correctly” and chapters 4 & 5 of the Programmed Instruction Manual. Both manuals can be ordered from the order form, or chapters 4 & 5 can be printed from our web site: http://ipm.ncsu.edu/pesticidesafety/. Click on Private Applicator Workbook.

From the west, travel I-85N/I-40E, take U.S. 29 north to the Market Street exit, turn left at stoplight at end of ramp and travel 1.6: miles to the Agricultural Center on your left. From the east, travel I-85/I-40, take exit 131 (I-85 Business/I-40) then immediately take Exit 44 (To Hwy. 70). Go to the end, about 1.5 miles, and continue bearing right on ramp onto Hwy 70 West (toward Greensboro). Go to the first stoplight (Exxon on the corner) and turn left. Go ½ mile to Agricultural Center on right. Motels are located on I-85/I-40.

FLETCHER , NC – OCTOBER 1-2 - Mountain Horticultural Research & Extension Center, 2016 Fanning Bridge Rd., (828-684-3562) From Interstate 26, take exit #40 (old exit #9) (Asheville Regional Airport Exit). At the end of the exit ramp turn toward the airport onto NC Hwy 280. Go past the airport. The road will bear right. Turn right on the first road after the airport: Old Fanning Bridge Rd. Cross the French Broad River and the MHCR&EC office building is at the top of the hill on the right. Econo Lodge (828-684-1200) and Hampton Inn (828-687-0806) are close.

Turn right at the first stoplight onto Fairchild Drive. The Forsyth Agricultural Building is 1 mile on the right. If coming south on U. S. 52, take the Akron Drive exit. Turn left and travel east to Liberty Street. Turn right on Liberty Street and travel to Fairchild Drive. Turn left on Fairchild Drive, the Forsyth County Agricultural Building will be on the right. RALEIGH, NC – November 11-12 - Wake County Commons Building. (Tel. 919-250-1100). From the I-440 Beltline, take the Poole Road Exit #15, turn east onto Poole Road, away from downtown Raleigh. Turn left onto Carya Drive, (see the Wake County Office Park sign), follow Carya drive down to the lower parking lot. West toward Cherryville 1/2 mi., then left onto Leisure Lane. From Charlotte and East: I-85 to exit 17 Hwy. 321 North 321 toward Lincolnton. GREENVILLE, NC - DECEMBER 5-6 - Pitt County Agriculture Center, 403 Government Circle, (252-902-1709). Going North from Greenville on Hwy 11/13, turn right (East) on Belvoir Rd. at a traffic light just North of the Airport entrance. Go straight on Belvoir Rd. to the traffic light at the intersection of Greene St. Go straight across Greene St. to the stop sign at the intersection of Belvoir Rd. and Old Creek Rd. turn left and the Pitt County Agriculture Center is on the left within the Pitt County Office Park.
