Dinoseb is commonly used on peanuts as pre-emergence and mid- to late-season sprays for weed control and/or suppression of Sclerotinia blight. Sprays that deposit large droplets on leaves result in chemical injury. This injury appears as either small dark-brown to black specks or larger tan spots with a dark-brown to black margin. Leaf petioles and plant stems may also show injury.
