Fungicide injury --
carboxin bleaching

Carboxin (Vitavax®) is a fungicide used on peanuts for control of Southern stem rot caused by the fungus, Sclerotium rolfsii. Occasionally, sprays applied to peanuts will produce a marginal bleaching of leaves. The degree of bleaching seems to vary according to weather conditions at and immediately following application. No adverse effects of this bleaching of leaves have been detected.
