EPA is gathering input on importance of Endosulfan (Thiodan) from users of this product. In ornamentals, thiodan is labeled for certain borers, Christmas trees, and a short list of nursery and greenhouse pests. This information will be used toward its risk assessment.
The Agency is seeking comment on these updated assessments, as well as EPA's analysis of endosulfan usage information from 2002 and its preliminary determinations regarding endosulfan's importance to growers and availability of alternatives. This document [below] is extending the comment period from January 16, 2008, to February 19, 2008.
